Yoga, like many meditative practices and healthy living techniques, has been shown to actually increase happiness in those who practice regularly. Yoga is both a workout for the body and the mind. As we mindfully move through our poses, we are cultivating a mind and body that is bright, aware, and patient. Our practice seeps into our daily lives, helping us bring these qualities to our everyday interactions.


Practicing yoga is also a form of exercise. You burn calories, strengthen muscles, and gain flexibility. Yoga can help us perform better in any of our other physical hobbies, helping the muscles heal and grow. As we practice, we also are able to build a symbiotic relationship between the mind, heart, and body.
