Why Yoga in Santa Rosa?
Here are some basic instructions for investigating the breath sitting right where you are.
Settle into the body. Tune into the direct experience you're having in the physical body. What can you feel right now? Take a moment to see what is happening in this present-time experience.
Turn your attention to a spot in the body in which you can feel the body breathing (tip of nose or chest are good spots). Simply notice the fluidity of the body breathing itself.
Continue to rest your awareness with the breath. When the mind wanders, just return to the breath gently and continue to feel the actual physical sensations of breathing.
